REPORTS TO: Payroll Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Think Power Solutions LLC is in search of a knowledgeable Payroll Analyst to enhance our accounting division. This role involves managing bi-weekly payroll processes utilizing Paylocity payroll software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Duties

  • Administering and executing bi-weekly payroll across multiple states.
  • Reconciling, balancing, and transmitting payroll data to Paylocity.
  • Reviewing payroll outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and tax obligations.
  • Compiling and submitting payroll data to the vendor in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources and Accounting to address and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Developing and maintaining payroll procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and relevant laws.
  • Providing support to the Payroll Manager as needed to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Establishing and updating payroll processes and policies as necessary.
  • Participating in training sessions to remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in payroll.
  • Proficient in Paylocity with strong report writing capabilities.
  • CPP certification is preferred but can be substituted with relevant experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state tax regulations and wage garnishments.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Paylocity processing.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to generate payroll audit reports within Paylocity.
  • Excellent quantitative and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
  • High integrity and self-motivation.
