KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all patrons, adhering to our high standards of excellence.
  • Ensure the quality of products on display and manage the rotation of pastries and desserts.
  • Prepare beverages based on customer demand during operational hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment during business hours.
  • Restock and organize pastries and beverages for display.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, integrity, and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about menu items and promotions.
  • Utilize the POS system accurately for cash handling and credit transactions.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about our quality products and specialty offerings.
  • Engage with guests by making eye contact, smiling, and fostering a joyful atmosphere.
  • Recognize that the guest experience is paramount.
  • Support guests in making informed order decisions.
  • Employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and boost sales.
  • Maintain a welcoming demeanor, ensuring guests and team members feel comfortable seeking assistance.
  • Work at designated stations as needed:
    • Barista: A vital role in crafting high-quality brewed beverages, contributing to our mission of spreading joy.
    • POS: Interact with guests to create a welcoming café experience, ensuring accurate packaging of pastries and promoting made-to-order beverages.
    • Greeter: Offer a warm welcome to guests and guide them to the appropriate areas.
    • Merchandiser: Focus on restocking and presenting bakery displays attractively.
    • Pick-Up Specialist: Ensure timely preparation and packaging of pickup and delivery orders, enhancing guest satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or food handling preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED or some college education preferred.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and passion for service.
  • Strong integrity and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills are essential.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Adherence to food safety standards.
  • Proficient in POS systems, with an understanding of cash handling accuracy.
  • Open to feedback for continuous improvement.
  • High emotional intelligence to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Team-oriented mindset that fosters a collaborative environment.
