We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to engage with our Commercial insurance clientele at Grimes Insurance Agency, Inc. In this position, you will be tasked with managing renewal applications, processing new business submissions, and effectively marketing both renewal and new business quotes to various insurance carriers. Timely and professional handling of service requests is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the company's insurance offerings.
- Understand the appetites, products, coverages, and underwriting prerequisites of different carriers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), endorsements, coverage modifications, payment inquiries, and finance-related questions.
- Access and manage customer accounts and policy details.
- Provide clients with thorough information regarding policies and products.
- Direct clients to sales agents when initiating new policies is necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Insurance.
- Possession of a Texas Insurance License.
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial insurance products and policy frameworks.
- A professional and approachable demeanor.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong understanding of insurance-related technology.
- Experience with agency management software and CRM systems.
- Advanced proficiency in telephone and call routing systems.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Capability to convey complex policy concepts in an easily understandable manner.
