Medical Office Coordinator

Job Overview:
Prime Occupational Services LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical billing and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage client cost and send invoices to collect payment from clients.
- Collect all necessary information to calculate bills and ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Calculate and collect payments for services rendered.
- Review and monitor assigned accounts to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Store, retrieve, and update files to maintain confidentiality and security in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Issue invoices and bills to clients through various communication channels.
- Compile, process, and maintain client records in a manner consistent with administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Update and maintain billing records and client information.
- Accurately and efficiently process medical claims and invoices.
- Scan and enter charts and invoices into the required systems.
- Assist with registration check-in and check-out procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least two years of experience in medical billing and administrative clerical support.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, software systems, and filing procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong customer service experience and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and set daily goals to meet deadlines.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national laws and regulations related to benefits and employment.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
This role requires:
- Sitting for prolonged periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Extensive use of computers and keyboards.
- Ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, and maintain focus.
- Timely decision-making in a workflow context.
- Effective communication with employees and visitors.
Estimate Salary:
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
