Responsibilities:- Respond to inquiries and requests related to academic matters, such as faculty hiring, leaves, and separations, within ServiceNow's ticketing platform.
- Review faculty job postings to ensure compliance with university and state policy.
- Audit and review faculty Prior Approval Request (PAR) documents to ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, standards, and business procedures.
- Review and approve business processes in Workday to ensure compliance with Regents Rules, university policy, and EVPP business procedures.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of increasingly responsible experience working with human resource functions in a university environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively on a team and with individuals at all levels and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under stress to meet all deadlines and assignments.
- Bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience working with academic human resource functions within The University of Texas System.
- Experience working with faculty and administrative and professional positions and policies administered by a university.
$62,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions:- May work around standard office conditions.
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
