Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors, vendors, and staff members to the facility with a warm and welcoming smile.
  • Guide or direct all visitors to their proper location, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Explain all COVID-19 guidelines and procedures for entering the facility, prioritizing the health and safety of our residents and staff.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and forward calls to the voice mail system in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sort, organize, and forward all mail to the appropriate staff and residents, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in sheets on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Dietary department to assist with meal notices and team member lunch payments, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Abide by the standards identified in FutureCare's Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan, upholding our organization's values and mission.
  • Perform additional clerical duties, such as typing tasks, including letters, reports, forms, and other correspondences as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of at least 1 year of clerical or medical office experience required.
  • Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or a medical facility is a plus.
  • Must have a welcoming personality and a professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Proven experience operating a multi-line phone system is required.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships is crucial.
  • Highly detailed and organized with the ability to multitask is necessary.
