About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Developmental Care Specialist to join our team at Positive Development for Youth & Families. As a Developmental Care Specialist, you will work one-on-one with our clients in their homes, providing play-based care and support to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one play-based care and support to clients with autism and other developmental differences
  • Follow a personalized plan for each client, reporting progress and communicating with their family
  • Attend clinical lectures and team meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and develop your skills
  • Contribute to a joyful and supportive company culture that values diversity and difference
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license or state ID
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, regularly get up and down from the floor, and actively play with children
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children and families
