Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at California Psychcare, Inc. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
  • Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months or of relevant experience working with individuals; may include internships, volunteer work, or employment in related fields such as education or childcare.
  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Successfully complete Live Scan background check, employment verification and TB screening
  • Be able to lift up to 30lbs. While assisting consumers
  • Must be able to run, bend, sit, stand for long periods at a time
