POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The primary goal of this role is to oversee the E-Commerce team and its operations to meet revenue and profit objectives. Key responsibilities encompass staff management and training, sales optimization, operational efficiency in warehousing, financial processes, customer service management, and the onboarding of new employees. This position also requires collaboration with various operational sectors to maximize productivity.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This role reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supervising E-Commerce personnel, temporary staff, and volunteers engaged in E-Commerce activities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively manages the E-Commerce team and operations to achieve financial targets.
- Plans, organizes, and prioritizes operational needs while serving as a key resource for problem resolution.
- Recruits and trains team members, assigns tasks, evaluates performance, and provides constructive feedback to ensure high productivity levels.
- Identifies developmental needs of staff and administers disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Maintains relationships with vendors and third-party listing services for E-Commerce.
- Ensures adherence to established customer service standards and resolves customer complaints as needed.
- Utilizes data analysis to assess revenue, expenses, market trends, and overall quality, making informed recommendations.
- Plans and executes online selling strategies, including pricing adjustments and promotional activities across various online platforms.
- Continuously seeks new opportunities to enhance E-Commerce sales.
- Conducts tours for external vendors and visitors.
- Participates in the procurement of new equipment and supplies, exploring cost-effective alternatives to enhance efficiency.
- Engages in working groups and webinars to stay updated on industry trends.
- Collaborates with underperforming stores to ensure they meet established goals.
- Communicates issues related to store and remote listing agents to management.
- Oversees the processing of unprocessed inventory and maintains the quality of listings.
- Maintains accurate records of sales, receipts, and deposits while adhering to internal audit procedures.
- Prepares work schedules, approves timecards, and manages employee and client records.
- Ensures a safe and organized environment in the warehouse and storage areas.
- Orders supplies and requests services as necessary for operational maintenance.
- Facilitates E-Commerce training during new hire orientations and leadership meetings.
- Promotes effective communication among store listing agents, E-Commerce supervisors, and store locations.

- Drives for company-related tasks and adheres to safety regulations.
- Performs additional duties as required and safeguards company property.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires an Associate's degree in management or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of five years in retail or E-Commerce management is essential. Advanced understanding of E-Commerce trends and practices is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and familiarity with photo editing software is necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, is essential.
