Job Summary

WellSpace Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Specialist, THRIVE to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will provide expert care to patients with complex mental health needs, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based behavioral interventions to patients with chronic mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with psychiatry providers, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Consult with and provide training to care team members to enhance communication skills, support a trauma-informed approach, and promote cultural sensitivity and effectiveness in managing behavioral components of health conditions.
  • Document all patient interactions in the Electronic Health Record according to WellSpace Health policies and timelines.
  • Make referrals to specialty mental health and other specialty services, within WellSpace Health or externally, as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ACSW or AMFT required. LCSW, LMFT or Psychologist license preferred.
  • Experience in a variety of assessments, treatment planning, and counseling issues, including chemical dependency, co-occurring disorders, and traumatic experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and comply with all state and federal laws and regulations.
