Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. This role will function in a collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s) in a physician practice or clinic setting, providing ambulatory nursing care as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient and family assessment, intervention, and education in a collaborative practice setting.
  • Supervise licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordinate daily clinical operations of the multi-physician practice.
  • Perform daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure, ensuring skillful and consistent execution.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in physician practice or clinic setting, with Pediatrics preferred.
  • Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas.
  • Current CPR certification.
