Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for residents, providing emotional, social, and physical support as outlined in their care plans. This role involves delivering direct care and adhering to the established health and safety protocols set by the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care to residents, attending to their individual needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure quality care.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years; candidates aged 16 must be enrolled in high school.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.

Experience:

While prior experience in long-term care is preferred, it is not mandatory.
