POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary role of this position is to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for residents, providing emotional and social support while addressing their physical needs. You will deliver direct care as per the residents' care plans and under the guidance of your supervisor, while also adhering to all health and safety protocols established by the community.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (or 16 years if currently enrolled in high school).
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directions effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices is necessary.
  • Must be able to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.

Shift & Compensation:

  • Available positions: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN
  • Shifts: Varies based on needs
  • Hourly Wage: $19.00 - $21.00
