Role Summary
As part of the Professional Services Team, Associate Pre-Sales Solutions Engineers support Solution Architects with the development of Securitas Electronic Security's RTLS solutions.

The Associate Pre-Sales Engineer engages in technical pre-sales activities, which include but are not limited to: creating and modifying solution design documentation, assisting in the assembly of pre-sales solution documentation, and contributing to RFI/RFP responses.

This role typically involves collaboration with Solution Architects within their region, prioritizing requests and activities to ensure timely delivery.

Associate Pre-Sales Engineers may also participate in limited post-sales activities to gain specific product knowledge related to use cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide internal pre-sales solution documentation support under the guidance of Solution Architects.
  • Assist in the development of RTLS solutions focused on meeting customer needs while safeguarding the interests of both the customer and Securitas Electronic Security.
  • Create solution design documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and solution design summaries.
  • Offer technical assistance with regional RFI/RFP responses.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree.
  • 2+ years of enterprise experience in commercial networking technology, including familiarity with Wi-Fi, Ethernet networks, and RF principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of VMware and server infrastructure principles is preferred.
  • Experience with RTLS products is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience preferred (clinical systems, clinical workflows, clinical operations).
  • Technical writing and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) are preferred.
  • Limited travel may be required.

This position may involve delivering on-site services at customer facilities, particularly in healthcare settings.

As a condition of employment, the selected candidate may need to engage in vendor credentialing systems specified by the customer.

Additional documentation and compliance with vendor credentialing requirements are mandatory, which may include:

  • Verification of vaccination records or immune titers for MMR, Tdap, Varicella, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B.
  • Annual obligations for TB screening with a negative test and confirmation of flu vaccination status.

Background checks and/or drug screenings conducted by third-party vendors may be required. During this process, you may be asked to provide personal information to third-party vendors vetted by Securitas Electronic Security.
