Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Specialist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our staff, you will contribute to our mission by providing top-notch patient care services and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care services under the supervision of a registered nurse or other licensed healthcare professional.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly using EHRs systems.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care and related areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a patient care role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) a plus.
