Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Healthcare Utilization Specialist. As a key member of our organization, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of inpatient settings utilizing InterQual criteria.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of clinical experience, including acute patient care, discharge planning, case management, and utilization review. A strong understanding of patient care and healthcare delivery processes is essential, along with expertise in medical terminology and InterQual knowledge.

Requirements
  • A current unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license is required.
  • An Associate Degree or nursing diploma is necessary.
  • At least 2 years of patient care experience is required.
  • Triage, case management, or utilization review experience is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, including typing at 40+ WPM, are essential.
Benefits
