Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Lead to join our team at Toyota Boshoku America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for directing team members in an assigned zone/area, delivering necessary training, monitoring and reporting daily performance in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and facilitate quality improvement activities as a coach or mentor to operators
  • Perform production readiness confirmation in pre-shift and complete post-shift checks
  • Use key performance indicators as a method of continuous improvement
  • Hourly production performance tracking by maintaining a Production Analysis Board for each process
  • Develop and implement standardized work procedures by designing and documenting the current best work sequence for each process
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Manufacturing or related field preferred; or equivalent 3 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to develop training materials following Job Instruction method
  • Ability to deliver training to team members in assigned zone/area based on training plans and needs
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis and reasoning analysis
  • Ability to read and interpret training-related documents for production environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid working knowledge of, and experience with, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Work Environment

Our plant is a standard automotive plant environment with a moderate noise level. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, and reflective vest are required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas.
