Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and recreational spaces.
  • Collect and dispose of waste from communal areas and designated collection points.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including sidewalks and parking lots, ensuring they are free from clutter and debris.
  • Clean shared appliances, such as washers and dryers, ensuring they operate efficiently.
  • Inform the property manager or maintenance team of any repair or maintenance needs beyond your capabilities.
  • Monitor the premises for safety and security issues, promptly reporting any concerns to the property manager.
  • Engage with residents in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their inquiries or requests promptly.
  • Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the property manager when restocking is necessary.
  • Follow safety protocols, property regulations, and guidelines, ensuring all cleaning and maintenance tasks comply with health and safety standards.
  • Be available for emergency situations, such as responding to leaks or urgent maintenance needs outside of regular hours.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in janitorial services, cleaning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is desired.
  • Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are necessary.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks are required.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to adhere to them is crucial.
  • Flexible working hours may be required, including weekends and holidays.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
  • A valid Driver's License is essential for performing job functions such as transporting supplies.
