Installation Project Manager

About the Role:

As a Commercial Installation Project Manager with Hussmann, you will oversee assigned site branch installation projects and report progress to the Installation Supervisor/Project Manager. Your primary goal is to provide safe, quality, and efficient service while maximizing profit and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel
  • Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff
  • Maintain compliance with internal contracting processes regarding customer-specific documentation and closeout processes
  • Review forecasted costs at completion by analyzing hours worked and material costs of projects
  • Cordinate installation or remodel jobs on-site, including Installers and Helpers, and provide supervision
  • Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts
  • Analyze plans and blueprints to understand the installation of cabling, communication loops, and components associated with energy management and refrigerant leak systems
  • Perform all job duties of an Installation Technician and delegate tasks to motivate individuals
  • Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent unsafe conditions

About You:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or 10 years of related experience and/or training
  • Ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required
  • HVAC/R with minimum 5-year commercial experience
  • Valid Driver's License and safe driving record
  • Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift objects up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail-oriented, and highly motivated
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work nights, weekends, and out of town as required
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse team environments and manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance

Compensation and Benefits:
