Key Responsibilities- Partner with business colleagues to understand their objectives and provide strategic legal advice to support product development and launch.
- Review and negotiate a variety of agreements critical to our product teams, including cloud service offerings, inbound technology licensing, analytics, and other vendor services.
- Support product readiness and release by identifying and driving resolution of issues related to intellectual property, privacy, data security, confidentiality, machine learning/AI, marketing, competition, regionalization, and other legal and regulatory issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Support M&A activities for specified product areas, including due diligence reviews, advising on transaction structure, execution, and integration matters.
- JD (Juris Doctorate) degree from an ABA accredited university and good standing as a member of the Bar.
- 3 or more years of experience providing legal support to software and cloud service businesses, either at a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience and interest in intellectual property, privacy, and technology transactions.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
