Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled GSOC Manager to lead our Global Security Operations Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the GSOC's strategic vision, ensuring seamless 24/7 operations, and establishing stringent security protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of security professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, discipline, and innovation.
  • Develop and communicate the GSOC's strategic vision, aligning it with the company's global security strategy.
  • Ensure seamless 24/7 operations of the GSOC, with a focus on threat detection, risk assessment, and incident response.
  • Establish and enforce stringent security protocols, including access control, incident reporting, and response procedures.
  • Stay at the forefront of security technology, overseeing the integration of cutting-edge tools and software into GSOC operations.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis management plans and lead the GSOC team in handling critical incidents effectively.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with regional security teams, vetted vendor partners, law enforcement agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination in the event of a security incident.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security programs that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the GSOC's performance against industry standards.
  • Mentor, train, and develop GSOC staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the highest standards in security operations.
  • Provide detailed reports to senior management and clients, offering insights, metrics, and recommendations to enhance security measures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees and industry certifications preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in security operations, including a substantial track record in managing a GSOC.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and strategic planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, threat intelligence, and best practices in the industry.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for security management and incident reporting.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in the security industry.
