Job Title: Director, IT Infrastructure and Security

Boyd Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, IT Infrastructure and Security to lead our IT operations and security initiatives. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of our IT infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of IT infrastructure and security strategies to support business objectives.
  • Lead the IT operations team to ensure the reliability and availability of data centers, infrastructure, and core enterprise applications.
  • Negotiate and maintain software license and maintenance agreements, as well as vendor and service agreements.
  • Develop and manage a successful team to support IT services, including recruitment, development, retention, and organization of IT Operations staff.
  • Oversee the ongoing review, selection, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's security technology and architecture.
  • Develop and manage an Information Security roadmap, strategies, and budgets based on industry standards and emerging technologies and issues.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate enterprise security policies and standards, including security training and awareness programs.
  • Develop and maintain a security incident response plan, including the ongoing test of the effectiveness of the program.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, and manage and develop self-audits to ensure compliance to policy.
  • Develop and manage a risk assessment process for new projects as well as major changes to existing Infrastructure/Applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of overall experience in Information Technology infrastructure build and management.
  • Experience in managing IT security operations and end-user computing.
  • Solid understanding of modern technology platforms, processes, and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with ITIL, COBIT, or other IT control frameworks; ITIL preferred.
  • Experience with large IT infrastructure and/or IT security projects, e.g. next-gen firewall, NAC solutions, SD-WAN solutions, cloud and on-premise voice solutions, collaboration tools, etc.
  • Prior experience with information security frameworks (i.e NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, etc.), secure network architecture (familiar with RFC 1918) and design, cloud computing, and secure application architecture/design preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of information security technologies (i.e SEIM, XDR, PAM, MFA, etc.), markets, and vendors including firewall, intrusion detection, assessment, and monitoring tools, encryption, certificate authority, and cloud networks.
  • Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to present technical information to executive leadership.
  • Experienced in working within a centralized/decentralized matrix business environment highly desirable.
  • MA experience including integrations highly preferred.
  • Travel may be required for business purposes. If so, the employee must have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.
  • US Citizen or lawful permanent US resident.
