Radiology Technologist Full Time Days

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Grosse Pointe Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Verify patient identification and physician orders, and acquire accurate patient histories.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and provide quality care.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, following policy for malfunctions and quality control failures.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self, adhering to ALARA standards.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families prior to exams.
- Contribute to department operations by assisting colleagues and maintaining quality assurance and control.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
