Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Opportunity

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Grosse Pointe Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring good clinical skills and providing the best possible images for interpretation.
  • Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations to ensure patient safety.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas and provide clinical instruction as appropriate, following Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize ALARA standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • Current CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross).
