Job Description: Financial Operations Coordinator II
The Grants & Contracts Accounting department at the University of Utah is seeking a highly skilled individual to join their team as a Financial Operations Coordinator II. This role requires a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex financial reports and invoices for submission to sponsoring entities.
- Analyze awards for the creation of projects and associated attributes within the University's financial system.
- Develop and maintain relationships with university departments, faculty, and staff to ensure compliance with sponsored awards and administrative processes.
- Implement and enforce compliance with federal and state regulations, University policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve financial issues related to the administration of awards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in research administration and sponsored project administration is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of federal, state, and private grants and contracts in a university environment.
Salary: $55,000 per year
