Ultimate Staffing Seeks Detail-Oriented Construction Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing bids for residential and commercial projects.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have excellent mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and material requirements, outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, and strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor quotes, profit, overhead, and taxes.
  • Bid Walks: Conduct and attend bid walks with customers, documenting through photos, notes, and measurements.
  • Subcontractor Management: Identify and coordinate with subcontractors and internal resources.
  • Plan Analysis: Analyze construction plans, specifications, and bid documentation.
  • Material Takeoffs: Execute material takeoffs and secure accurate pricing.
  • Bid Submission: Prepare and submit accurate, complete bids.

  • Proven mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and material requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships.

Salary Information:

This is a direct hire / permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
