Position Summary
This role represents the introductory level of banking examination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities outlined below are essential functions common to all roles within this classification and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for any single position.

Incumbents may perform similar duties not specifically listed here as needed.

Conducts on-site evaluations of financial institutions, which includes analyzing and assessing records, financial statements, assets and liabilities, security measures, insurance policies, real estate holdings, and meeting minutes from board sessions.

Ensures adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards while promoting the safety and soundness of financial entities.
Prepares detailed reports following examinations, encompassing observations and conclusions drawn.

Participates in various training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance professional skills and stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements for Financial Institution Examiner I:
Candidates must possess education, training, and/or experience demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Additional Information
A writing sample may be requested during the interview process.
