Job Title: Systems Administration Senior Analyst

Delaware's central IT organization, the Department of Technology & Information (DTI), is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administration Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our technical infrastructure, ensuring efficient and effective services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for DTI's technical infrastructure, ensuring efficient and effective services for our customers.
  • Collaborate with other DTI staff, vendors, and customers to resolve technical issues and improve IT services.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve IT infrastructure and services.
  • Lead and participate in projects to improve IT infrastructure and services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in one or more of the core technical requirements and related product support in a 24x7 operational environment.
  • Experience with installation and configuration, version testing, debugging, installation of patches, direct technical vendor interactions, tuning, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong technical proficiency in one or more of the core Technology Domains, including Server Support, VMWare Virtualization, Configuration Management, and Web Engineering Support.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with particular emphasis on identifying creative solutions to IT problems within applicable constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, I/T discipline, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications commensurate with advanced technical capabilities.
