About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Torchy's Tacos. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall success and profitability of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and maintain a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and developing managers and team members.
  • Restaurant Operations: Direct the successful and profitable operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, budgets, and P&L statements.
  • Management Team: Direct and manage the management team, including setting schedules and assigning responsibilities.
  • Training and Development: Develop and maintain training standards, and consistently develop team members and managers.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, and that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with all store vendors and HQ contacts.
  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the restaurant and the corporate office, and attend regular meetings to stay informed and provide updates.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager or above in the casual dining industry.
  • Commitment: Willingness to make a minimum 3-year commitment to the restaurant.
  • Skills: Full casual dining experience, hands-on experience in all facets of FOH and BOH, and previous exposure to a scratch kitchen.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds, stand for several hours, and walk for long periods of time.
