Job Overview

Ivyhill Technologies LLC is actively seeking qualified individuals for the role of Medical Telephone Appointment Agents. This position is based in a call center environment, where agents will be responsible for facilitating appointment scheduling for a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) under a government contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling of medical appointments while assessing patient eligibility through various communication methods.
  • Assist the Primary Care Manager (PCM) in the coordination of primary and specialty care appointments, ensuring patients receive clear visit instructions.
  • Confirm beneficiary eligibility for requested services and maintain accurate patient demographic information.
  • Adhere to established booking protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each clinic.
  • Conduct outbound calls to patients, distribute mass communications to specific patient demographics, and respond to online inquiries for appointment management.
  • Facilitate the initial referral process for specialty consultations, ensuring compliance with clinic capabilities and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience of six months to one year in a medical office setting or a fast-paced call center is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential, demonstrated by a 40-hour educational certificate or relevant experience.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute is necessary.
  • Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and a solid understanding of medical ethics are crucial.
