Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Referral Specialist to join our team at THE REHABILITATION GROUP PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointments, managing referrals, and providing exceptional patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with specialists or other healthcare providers
  • Manage referrals, including obtaining necessary authorizations from insurance companies
  • Communicate with patients and their families to ensure understanding of the referral process and required follow-up actions
  • Maintain accurate records of patient referrals and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth referral operations
  • Assist doctors with patient care and perform medical assistant duties as needed

About Our Practice

We are a busy Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation practice located in the medical center, specializing in electromyography and medical management of amputees, stroke, spasticity, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, injured workers, sports medicine, spine care, repetitive motion disorders, and geriatric rehabilitation.
