Office Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting healthcare providers and collaborating with various departments on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key point of contact for healthcare provider clients, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
  • Assist in managing projects across different departments, ensuring timelines are met and tasks are completed accurately.
  • Handle inquiries and documentation related to insurance providers, including claims, authorizations, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain detailed records and manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
  • Provide support in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with insurance providers, resolving any issues or discrepancies related to billing and claims.
  • Ensure the office runs smoothly by managing supplies, coordinating meetings, and assisting with any ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working in an administrative role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, etc.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing workloads and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and healthcare-related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A positive, team-oriented personality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required; associate's degree or higher preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance-related administrative role is strongly preferred.
