Position Overview:

Join our team as an Emergency Medical Technician Trainee, where you will embark on a rewarding journey in the field of emergency medical services. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Program Details:

The selected candidate will be engaged in a comprehensive training program to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This program is fully funded, covering all educational expenses including textbooks, uniforms, and examination fees.

Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be expected to achieve National Registry Certification along with state licensure.


Post-Training Commitment:

After obtaining certification, candidates are required to commit to a full-time position with AMR for a minimum duration of one year.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Successfully complete the EMT training program.
  • Work as a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) while attending classes.
  • Ensure all ambulances are ready for service, maintaining cleanliness and proper equipment supply.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and restock supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any vehicle issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document vehicle conditions and assist in equipment tracking.
  • Provide support to field crews and respond to inquiries.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Driver's License with a compliant driving record.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Enrollment in an approved EMT program is required.
  • Completion of all necessary pre-employment screenings.

This position may involve working in high-pressure situations, requiring the ability to handle fatigue and repetitive tasks. Candidates should be prepared for varied working conditions, including potential exposure to hazardous environments.
