LMS Data Specialist - A Key Role in Data Management
Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled LMS Data Specialist to join our Data, Analytics and Product Development Team:
- This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite work in NYC two days a week.
- The job is a 6-12 month contract to hire, with the possibility of full-time employment at the end of the contract period.
- Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is essential.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python is required.
- A minimum of a 4-year college degree is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring data quality and integrity by standardizing data and developing processes for data classification and analysis.
- Validating data for completeness and accuracy, working with data providers to improve data management workflows.
- Collaborating with data staff and other departments to identify and mitigate potential data issues.
- Regulating and advising on protocols and processes to maintain data cleanliness.
- Cleaning large datasets in a timely and thorough manner.
- Auditing and reporting the quality control of data analysis and visualizations.
Requirements:
- General knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Excel, and related data analytics toolsets.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work autonomously, think analytically, and anticipate data issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data systems to non-technical teams.
- Strong quality control abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
Benefits:
