Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Project Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mechanical and electrical systems to meet the needs of our facilities
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational problems
  • Manage and maintain documentation for mechanical systems
  • Communicate critical updates to site system operators
  • Manage FAC FMS (Facilities Management System/building controls) specification, design, and operation for multiple sites
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • 2-6 years of experience developing, coordinating, and managing mechanical and/or facility-related projects
  • Extensive experience with control systems architecture and programming (EBO/Andover, Tridium, Siemens)
  • Strong subject matter knowledge of industrial mechanical systems from concept through final design and implementation
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Customer focus and ability to work well in a collaborative environment
