Pay Rate: $30/hr - $40/hr DOE
Contract Duration: 3 Months with potential for permanent placement
Company Overview: Belcan is a leading provider of engineering, technical recruiting, and IT services across various sectors including aerospace, industrial, and government.
Position Overview: A Material Planner position is available within our organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring that essential raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies are delivered efficiently to support production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track the creation of Purchase Orders within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain updates necessary for production, addressing any parts that require further attention.
- Support Warehouse and Accounts Payable teams in resolving issues related to parts receipts to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in material planning or related fields.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with Purchasing and Procurement processes.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with Oracle ERP systems is advantageous.
