About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Strategist to join our Development team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive communication plans to support our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multi-channel content strategies to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop, produce, and edit major publications and projects.
  • Write and approve content for the intranet and explore and implement multi-media storytelling techniques.
  • Independently manage small to medium-sized projects and events, ensuring they align with our organizational objectives and standards.
  • Help develop and maintain crisis communication plans and participate in crisis drills and activities.
  • Prepare content for senior leadership approval during emergencies and train to serve as a spokesperson for the medical center.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related role.
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing multi-channel content.
  • Experience with HTML, WYSIWYG, and Classy.
  • Familiarity with Peer-to-Peer fundraisers and Text-to-Give campaigns.
  • Precious non-profit and/or fundraising communications experience.
