Job Summary:

MyMichigan Health is seeking a skilled Device Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end users. Your primary focus will be on resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming calls, pages, or trouble tickets in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze and diagnose problems with end user computing equipment and software.
Collaborate with technology teams to resolve complex issues that cannot be resolved at the Tier 2 level.
Document all pertinent information related to the diagnosis and resolution of problems using our service desk tracking system.
Maintain accurate records of time spent on issues and manage resources responsibly.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two years of technical experience in the field, with a focus on end user computing and technical support.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues at all levels.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and sitting required.
Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
