The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineering Program Manager to join our team at Adobe Experience Platform. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading large-scale programs across multiple teams and organizations, driving technical excellence, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex programs from initiation to delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams to define priorities, develop detailed program plans, and allocate resources effectively.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the technical solution being built, its dependencies, and critical changes needed to support the initiative.
- Develop and maintain detailed program status reports, including executive-level presentations, to communicate program progress and status to various stakeholders.
- Engage and influence people at all levels, from front-line team members to senior executives, to ensure alignment and commitment to program goals and objectives.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent programs, varying in size, scope, and complexity, spanning across several teams and organizations.
- Effectively communicate technical and non-technical information to various stakeholders, providing inputs to architecture decisions and ensuring technical excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of technical program management experience, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Motivated, passionate about customer experience, execution-oriented, and high-performance individual with strong process and metric focus.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Possess strong knowledge about software development life cycle, including build processes, testing, and code reviews.
- Strong analytical thinking with a track record of delivering programs in a fast-paced environment, using metrics and data to drive decisions.
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to dive deep without being asked to understand business, product, and technical interplay.
Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $138,600 -- $258,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
