Principal Construction Engineer

Bloom Energy is a leading provider of clean, reliable energy solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Construction Engineer to join our team in San Jose, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales objectives by providing technical expertise to customers.
  • Qualify installation sites and develop custom solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to create bid and proposal documents.
  • Interface with customers and utilities to determine technical requirements for fuel cell installations.
  • Define scope of work during the pre-sales process, leveraging internal and external resources.
  • Educate customers, local authorities, and utilities on the operation of fuel cell systems.
  • Work with customers, Sales, Field Service, Technical Support, and Engineering to resolve installation-related issues.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Construction and/or facility maintenance experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
