Position Overview:

Altus Group is actively seeking a Senior Consultant to contribute to our Complex Property Tax division. This role will involve collaboration with leadership and can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct independent analyses and complete projects while determining subsequent steps. Analyze data independently to assist in defining project scope, appeal decisions, and project completion. Offer recommendations to management regarding appeal strategies and project progression. Upon defining project scope, execute necessary steps to ensure project completion. Communicate with assessors and clients to gather essential information for project execution. Develop and implement project plans to meet scope requirements for routine or repeatable projects. Supervise team members as necessary to ensure project completion and communicate analysis results and status updates to supervisors and clients. Manage billing and monitor project profitability. Ensure all systems are updated for projected revenue, timelines, and personnel staffing. Serve as a primary resource for less experienced staff on technical and analytical issues.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred, but not mandatory. Relevant experience in property tax, ideally within industrial, energy, telecom, or comparable sectors. Proficient understanding of valuation principles. Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Adobe. Ability to consolidate and analyze extensive and complex data sets. Strong analytical capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail.
