Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Manager to join our team at HNTB. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of an assigned service line and/or portfolio of projects within an office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Office Finance Manager to create and maintain budgets for a designated service line or project portfolio.
  • Monitor monthly results, analyze variances, and recommend solutions to support goal achievement.
  • Provide financial oversight/guidance for projects of varying complexity in the assigned service line or portfolio.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and procedures, fostering efficient and compliant financial operations within the service line and/or portfolio of projects.
  • Manage a team, efficiently allocating resources to projects for a designated service line or project portfolio.
  • Participate in the pursuit process to position HNTB for successful project delivery.
  • Lead office month-end reporting and revenue recognition activities for a designated service line or project portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of financial, project accounting/analysis, or related experience.
  • 2 years of project and/or people management/mentoring experience.
  • In lieu of education, 11 years of financial, project accounting/analysis, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management certification, other contracting/project management certifications.
  • Master's degree in business or engineering.
  • Knowledge of project financial management/cost controls.
  • Knowledge of accounting/financial principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of A/E industry.
What We Offer

HNTB offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $236,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
