Compensation and Schedule

Hourly Rate: $16.85 + $0.25 Shift Premium

Work Hours: 3:30 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Role Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to manually wrap food items into designated packaging formats and to pack these items into cases, ensuring compliance with all quality and safety standards. This position may also involve tasks related to material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review work schedule and prepare for assigned tasks.
  • Receive and hand-wrap food products according to specified configurations.
  • Assist in rotating duties with other team members as needed.
  • Prepare and set up packaging materials at the workstation.
  • Pack individual wrapped food items into larger cases following established guidelines.
  • Ensure proper placement of packed cartons onto conveyors.
  • Assemble and seal inner cartons as required.
  • Address any operational issues and assist in product rework as necessary.
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the work area at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
  • Commitment to performing all job functions safely.
  • Adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Capability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Understanding of and compliance with written safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Availability to work scheduled hours and any required overtime.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
