Position Details:
Compensation: $16.85 per hour
Shift: 1
Working Hours: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manually shape food items into designated packaging formats and efficiently pack these items into cases while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. This position may also involve tasks related to material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review work schedule and prepare for assigned tasks.
- Receive and hand-wrap food products according to specified configurations.
- Collaborate with team members as needed.
- Prepare assembled boxes for packing.
- Pack various wrapped or frozen food items into master cases as per packaging requirements.
- Ensure full cartons are placed onto the conveyor system.
- Assemble inner cartons and seal them as necessary.
- Address any product jams and perform rework as required.
- Complete general housekeeping duties and paperwork at the end of the shift.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate or learn to use necessary equipment and tools.
- Commitment to performing all job functions safely.
- Compliance with company standards and instructions.
- Understanding of written safety and operational procedures.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Successful completion of a background check.
