Position Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist who embodies a positive and energetic demeanor to thrive in our vibrant Customer Service Department. This role entails efficiently managing all incoming consumer inquiries as well as communications from medical and dental professionals, while also executing tasks as directed by the Customer Service Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Handling all incoming calls from consumers and professionals regarding our product offerings.
- Addressing customer inquiries and requests via phone or email, adhering to our response guidelines.
- Assisting healthcare and dental professionals, pharmacies, and customers with new orders and tracking existing orders.
- Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of our product lines.
- Utilizing product knowledge and company policies to assist customers with inquiries or concerns.
- Following established protocols for escalating customer complaints.
- Participating in trade shows as needed, including processing leads and supporting post-event marketing efforts.
- Providing backup support for Front Desk operations during breaks and lunch periods.
- Exhibiting a self-motivated attitude and maintaining a positive outlook.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience in a call center environment is preferred; experience with database entry is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with MS Business Central is advantageous.
- Strong command of the English language with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of patience; a positive attitude is essential.
- Disciplined, energetic, and results-driven.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems is helpful, but not mandatory.
- A collaborative team player.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary of $18.00 per hour.
