About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, handling instruments and equipment with precision and care.
  • Maintain a sterile field, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team, adapting to changing circumstances with ease and poise.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and contributing to the development of best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent experience.
  • One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
