About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and medication lists
  • Conduct vital sign measurements, such as blood pressure and pulse
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient correspondence
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
