Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistants play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Medical Support Assistant, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences. Your responsibilities will include assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests under the supervision of a licensed medical provider. You will also be responsible for front desk, patient registration, insurance billing, and payment collection/cashiering. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence, justice, and compassion in daily work and relationships with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with exams and procedures under the supervision of a licensed medical provider
- Administer medications and perform tests as needed
- Provide exceptional patient care and support
- Manage front desk, patient registration, insurance billing, and payment collection/cashiering
Requirements
- Graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- 2 years of experience providing customer service in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college education
- 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
