Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Accountable for coordinating, mentoring, and directing the daily functions of a production team comprised of manufacturing operators.

• Facilitate the daily operational meeting for the production team, focusing on ergonomic practices and implementing job rotation strategies.

• Provide on-the-job coaching and maintain necessary training records for all personnel assigned to the production areas.

• Assist the team in creating and utilizing standardized work protocols.

• Address immediate troubleshooting needs and perform minor maintenance tasks during production downtimes.

• Ensure the team meets daily objectives related to 5S+1, quality assurance, delivery timelines, continuous improvement initiatives, and cost efficiency.

• Recommend individual recognition for achieving goals and making significant contributions.

• Utilize various problem-solving methodologies (such as the 5 Whys) to drive issues towards sustainable solutions.

• Champion continuous improvement efforts to foster an environment of ongoing enhancement within the production areas.

• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures by both individuals and the team.

• Oversee the completion of required preventive maintenance tasks by the team.

• Conduct audits and inspections of the production cells and follow up on any discrepancies; monitor and document team performance.

SHIFT DETAILS - Night Shift: 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM

This role is specifically for D shift only.

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

• Adherence to quality control standards.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication skills with team members and management.

• Legal authorization to work in the country is required. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.

• Relocation assistance is not provided.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 6 years of experience in a leadership capacity within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in training manufacturing personnel.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices.

• Intermediate computer skills.

• Strong mechanical skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance. Must be capable of standing for extended periods, up to 10+ hours. Must be able to push, pull, reach, twist, turn, stoop, walk, and stand for 10+ hours.
