Your Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation. You'll work closely with our residents to address any maintenance issues and ensure their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of properties, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation
  • Work closely with residents to address maintenance issues and ensure their satisfaction
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the multifamily industry with at least 1+ year of supervisory background leading a commercial or residential Maintenance and Grounds team
  • Deep commitment to applying your best in high-energy and emergency environments
  • Ability to remain calm in the face of disaster
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Yardi Voyager experience a plus
  • Valid California Driver's License and car insurance
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
